Commemoration rallies remembering Ruhollah Khomeini, widely known as Imam Khomeini, were observed across several cities including Leh, Kargil, Srinagar, and Karachi.
In Leh, the event witnessed strong participation of women, who actively joined the rally, taking part in prayers, speeches, and peaceful gatherings to mark the occasion. Their presence highlighted growing community engagement and the important role of women in social and religious events in the region.
Similar commemorative gatherings were also reported from Kargil, Srinagar, and Karachi, where participants assembled to pay tribute and remember the legacy and teachings associated with Imam Khomeini. Organizers emphasized messages of unity, peace, and collective reflection during the programs.
All events were conducted peacefully under local supervision, with participants maintaining discipline throughout the commemorations.
